Maryland Internal Medicine Inc wants to welcome Dr. Babak Kazemi Nia, Dr. I. Juliana Allen and Manchang Liu PA-C.
Information for our Patients
Anyone entering the office and is not feeling well or has a cough, sore throat, sinus congestion or fever must have a face mask covering their nose and mouth. If you do not have a proper face mask, you will not be allowed entry into the office.
For new patients only please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment and for established patient 10-15 minutes before.

insurance claims
We will process your insurance claims with our participating plans. When you arrive for your appointment, you need to bring and present your insurance card, photo identification, and any applicable co-payment to the check-in desk.
requires PCP
If you have an HMO, or POS insurance plan that requires a PCP, your insurance card must have our practice name, or one of our physicians, imprinted on the front of your card. If our name is not on your insurance card, unfortunately we will not be able to see you until it is rectified. For our self-pay patients, payment is expected at the time of service.

Office Policy
Referrals are generated during business hours and require 48-hour advance notice
If there is a need to change or cancel an appointment, please notify us 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. There is a $50.00 charge for missed appointments.
If you have an after-hours emergency, please dial the main number (301) 593-6844 or (301)446-2628 and if you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911. Please contact the office during normal business hours for prescription refills and referrals.
